| In order to keep Foxfire Botanical Gardens open and available for the public to enjoy for years to come, The Friends of Foxfire organization was set-up as a non-profit organization to do just that. This group of dedicated garden-lovers works hard to assure that the gardens have the necessary resources to stay free and open to all visitors. Fundraisers throughout the year help to fund college and graduate students to work and study in these botanical gardens, and to grow and expand the reach of Foxfire Botanical Gardens into the local community and beyond. Programs like Art in the Gardens, Garden Lectures, and the Video Series would not be possible without the Friends of Foxfire. These volunteers are also involved in other events at Foxfire like our volunteer clean-up days, garden preview events, and hosta gala. If you are interested in making a donation of time or money to the Friends of Foxfire, please contact us at foxfire@foxfiregardens.com. Those making memorial donations will be included on our memorial plaque, which is located in the Teahouse. There are also opportunities to become more involved with our activities through the leadership in Friends of Foxfire. |
